Alumnae Volunteer

There are many ways to stay involved with Mercy! Check out the volunteer opportunities below, or contact Sammie Emsick Becker '05 at beckers@mercyhigh.org or 402.553.9424 for more information.

The Alumnae Council meets regularly to plan events and fundraising opportunities in support of Mercy's mission. Contact Sammie Emsick Becker '05 to express your interest in joining the Council.

Every Tuesday, Mercy High School invites an alumna to lead the school in Tuesday morning prayer. You are welcome to write your own prayer or to say a prayer provided by Campus Ministry. We ask that you arrive by 7:30 a.m. on your assigned Tuesday. After morning prayers and announcements, you are welcome to stay for a tour of Mercy High School. Contact Sammie Emsick Becker '05 to sign up for a Tuesday.

During Senior Retreat at the beginning of September each year alumnae are invited to come and speak about their experiences as Women of Mercy out in the world. You will speak to a small group of seniors, and they will be encouraged to ask you questions about your experiences. Contact Sammie Emsick Becker '05 to join us for Senior Retreat.

Monarch Parents Club

One of Mercy’s greatest strengths is our spirit of community. As an educational institution we benefit greatly from your active involvement in our school. We would like to invite you to obtain or renew a membership in our Monarch Parents Club. The mission of the club is to support our young women in their extracurricular activities and to enhance many of the events which are an integral part of school life at Mercy. Our hope is to work with you to strengthen the connection between home and school through the efforts of our parent organization.

When you become a member of our Monarch Parents Club, you can assist us in making the new school year an excellent experience for all of our young women!

When you become a member of the Monarch Parents Club and indicate the areas where you would contribute your time and talent, one of the MPC Core Team members will contact you to discuss how you can help us. Thank you for considering actively supporting our Monarch Parents Club and at the same time working for the benefit of the students at Mercy High School.
