Donor Impact in Action
Mercy High School continued its momentum and legacy of excellence in education. Our recruitment efforts yielded a class of 113 freshmen, we dedicated two state-of-the-art science laboratories and our FIESTA 2019 was one of the largest attended events in our history with $400,000 raised for Negotiated Tuition Program. Academically our 2019 graduates earned more than $6 million in college scholarships. Also our extracurricular activities, performing arts agenda and leadership efforts afforded every student the opportunity to excel. We also developed a new leadership and empowerment program, Kaleidoscope. Not only were we able to leverage current community resources and partners to make this happen, individuals and businesses donated to completely fund this effort.
The budget continues to show we are operating in the black. This annual report, which we combined with our summer Mercian, provides a listing of the women and men who are committed to the mission of Mercy High School. It also provides highlights of the activities and the student outcomes that are directly impacted by their generosity and investment. It is also through their gifts that our faith-based, college preparatory education is possible.
The 2017-2018 was done online and featured an overview of Mercy High School accomplishments and the impact financial donations made on the school's success. The publication included pdfs of key donation lists.
