There are many ways to stay involved with Mercy! Check out the volunteer opportunities below, or contact Roz Parr '09 (firstname.lastname@example.org or 402.553.9424) for more information.
Tuesday morning prayer – Every Tuesday, Mercy High School invites an alumna to lead the school in Tuesday morning prayer. You are welcome to write your own prayer or to say a prayer provided by Campus Ministry. We ask that you arrive by 7:30 a.m. on your assigned Tuesday. After morning prayers and announcements, you are welcome to stay for a tour of Mercy High School.
Alumnae database – In this volunteer role, we will ask you to assist in inputting yearbook information into our database. You are welcome to volunteer as often as you like to help us complete this project as directed by the Database Coordinator.
Speak at Career Day – In the spring, we host a Career Day for our students to learn more about their professional possibilities. Two alumnae are paired together to talk to groups of approximately 10 students about their jobs. After a 15-minute discussion, the students rotate and you will speak to a new group of students.
Speak at Senior Retreat - During Senior Retreat on September 6, 2019, alumnae are invited to come and speak about their experiences as Women of Mercy out in the world. You will speak to a small group of seniors, and they will be encouraged to ask you questions about your experiences.
Alumnae Council - The Alumnae Council regularly meets to plan events and fundraising opportunities in support of Mercy's mission.
