FIESTA (Friends In Earnest Supporting Tuition Assistance) is Mercy’s signature fundraising celebration, bringing together our community in support of Mercy’s Negotiated Tuition Program. This year’s theme, “For the Love of Mercy,” promises an unforgettable evening filled with dinner, drinks, a silent and live auction, and a few special surprises along the way! Each year, we also honor outstanding partners in our mission with the Cor Misericordiae (Heart of Mercy) Award, recognizing those whose dedication embodies the spirit of Mercy and the education of young women.

FIESTA History
The annual fundraiser to benefit the Negotiated Tuition Program actually began as a Twelfth Night Ball in 1985. It received a new name in 1991, when the event was renamed FIESTA (Friends In Earnest Supporting Tuition Assistance).
Another tradition is bestowing, when appropriate, Mercy High School’s highest honor, The Cor Misericordiae (Heart of Mercy) Award. This honor was established to recognize and bless the school’s partners in ministry who espouse Mercy’s mission of the careful instruction of young women.
