Athletes Honored

Student-athletes were recognized at Mercy’s Athletic Banquet on May 11. The Sister Edith Award, the top athletic award, was presented to Katherine Wurtz. The recognition honors the athlete that best portrays qualities important in athletics like sportsmanship, spirit, enthusiasm, and concern for teammates while using athletic skills to the best of her ability. The Scholar-Athlete was Annika Muse.
