Prayer for the Beatification of Catherine McAuley

Loving God, you chose Catherine McAuley for the service of your people who are poor, sick and uneducated. You inspired her to found the Sisters of Mercy that these good works might endure. Give to each of us a portion of her compassionate spirit and ardent desire to serve your suffering people.

Bless all our undertakings and grant that union and charity may always thrive among us. Graciously hear our prayer for Catherine, and by granting the favors we ask through her intercession, hasten the day when her sanctity will be celebrated by all the church. Amen.

School Updates

Spirit Week

We celebrated Spirit Week from November 15 - 19 thanks to the leadership of Student Council.

  • During Reality Check Monday, students and teachers dressed as their favorite reality TV personalities and decorated the hallways.
  • For ‘Tis the Season Tuesday, everyone wore their most festive holiday gear and Student Council treated everyone to a popcorn bar during lunch.
  • Summer Special Wednesday featured students in their summer best and a trivia contest over the lunch periods.
  • Students dressed in their vintage best for Throwback Thursday. We also played bingo during lunch.
  • During Chill at Home Friday, students enjoyed class dances and a viewing of a movie in their coziest clothes.

Operation Others also held their annual Spirit Week canned food drive. Our students collected 9,548 cans, surpassing their goal by over 200 cans.

This year’s Nocturne was celebrated on November 20 at Mercy. Congratulations to this year's royalty!
