Mercy Reflections

Prayer to the Holy Spirit in the Time of COVID19

Spirit of God
Who pervades the Earth
Enables and empowers
The communion of all
That exists and oversees
The ever-evolving universe
O Indwelling Spirit
Who groans within
And suffers with us
During this time
Of global and local
Pain and loss
Great Compassionate Spirit
Grace us with the
Fortitude to endure
The cross of this pandemic
And faith to trust
That new life
Lies ahead beyond
The time of COVID19.

School News

New School Year Starts

Mercy High School welcomed 82 freshmen and several transfers to the school this fall. Using a hybrid model, a combination of in-class and online teaching, freshmen arrived on August 13 and August 14 depending on the beginning letter of their last name.  Student Ambassadors greeted them with cheers and shouts of welcome. Inside the building their lockers were decorated by their Big Sisters.

Annual Golf Fest September 14

Golf is one of the safest activities for social distancing, and we can't wait to see you on the course!  This annual fundraising event supports Mercy's unique Negotiated Tuition Program. We provide more than $1.8 million in tuition assistance to 82% of our students, providing the more financial assistance per student than any other high school in the Omaha Metro.  Sign up today.
