Referral Program Submission

• Currently enrolled Mercy families will earn a $500 tuition credit for a NEW family that enrolls at least one student.

• The current Mercy family will receive the applicable tuition credit AFTER the new family completes one semester of enrollment.

• The referring family must have at least one student currently enrolled at Mercy High School to be eligible to receive the tuition credit.
• A “New Family” denotes a family that does not currently have an enrolled student at Mercy High School.
• The tuition credit is based on the number of new families enrolled, not the number of students enrolled. (Unlimited number of referrals per year)
• It is the referring family’s responsibility to complete and submit the New Family Referral Form. Referrals cannot be made retroactively.
• The referring family will be notified of the new family’s enrollment once the new family has completed all necessary paperwork.
• The referring family will not receive credit nor cash back if the referral amounts are more than that family’s tuition amount nor will they receive any cash back if they no longer have girls at Mercy High School.

The Future Monarch Award is a $1,000 tuition incentive for students who shadow at Mercy High School, complete the HSPT exam at Mercy High School, and are accepted. It’s our way of celebrating your first steps toward becoming part of the Mercy Monarchy!

• Mercy High School is committed to making a faith-based education accessible.
• The Negotiated Tuition Program is an individualized agreement between families and the school, considering unique financial situations.
• FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is required for tuition negotiation and ensures accuracy and security.
• The President personally meets with each new family to discuss tuition before it is finalized.

• FACTS applications open December 1 each year.
• Freshman applications due: February 15
• Current student applications due: March 15
• Complete the assessment once if applying to multiple schools; information is also shared with Omaha Archdiocese Educational Foundation (OAEF).

The family of every new student has a confidential conference with the President of Mercy High School. To prepare for this conference, each family must submit the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, and enter into a realistic conversation to establish a tuition plan. These conferences occur during March and April after the student registers for classes at Mercy.

For the current school year, Mercy's Negotiated Tuition is over $1.99 million assisting 82% of our families. It is most individualized program in the area. Mercy provides more financial assistance, per student, than any other high school in the Omaha area. 

The President of Mercy High School is willingly available to revisit your tuition plan. This can be done by making an appointment with her. 

Tuition may be paid in full, semester, quarterly or spread over 10-12 months. If the monthly option is chose, FACTS Management System will automatically withdraw from your account.

Yes, each parent volunteers for several activities at Mercy High School. Everyone supports FIESTA plus another event. 

There are numerous academic scholarships available. These academic scholarships are based solely on the results of the Scholarship & Placement Exam taken in January at Mercy. Each school year over $68,900 is awards to students.

Yes. Many local parishes, schools and Catholic organizations offer scholarships. You can contact them. 

Freshman and sophomores are welcome to apply to the work study program. They are assigned light housekeeping, secretarial jobs or special projects. The students complete their work on a daily basis either before or after school, or during their study hall.

Yes, there are registration and activities fees for each student. Books and uniforms must also be purchased. Students must also own a generation 10 iPad or higher (minimum 64 GB)
