Financial Assistance

• Mercy High School is committed to making a faith-based education accessible.
• The Negotiated Tuition Program is an individualized agreement between families and the school, considering unique financial situations.
• FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is required for tuition negotiation and ensures accuracy and security.
• The President personally meets with each new family to discuss tuition before it is finalized.

• FACTS applications open December 1 each year.
• Freshman applications due: February 15
• Current student applications due: March 15
• Complete the assessment once if applying to multiple schools; information is also shared with Omaha Archdiocese Educational Foundation (OAEF).

• Use Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer (Safari does not work well with FACTS).
• Preferred tax information: 2022 (2021 is also accepted).
• Returning families can update their previous FACTS account with their existing username and password.

Monthly Expenses:

• Housing: Rent/mortgage, property taxes, and home insurance.
• Vehicles: Monthly payments or paid-in-full vehicles.
• Loans & Credit Cards: Monthly payments, alimony, child support, health insurance premiums.

Annual Expenses:

• Vehicle insurance
• Out-of-pocket medical costs
• Charitable donations
• College tuition
• Child/Daycare & Elder care

Assets & Liabilities:

• Checking/Savings balances
• Stocks, bonds, and 529 plans (including annual contributions)
• Retirement accounts (including annual contributions)
• Home value & mortgage balance
• Value & mortgage balance of a second home

• Returning families can request tuition agreements by mail after review.
• Returning families may also request a private meeting with the President if needed.
• Mercy High provides more tuition assistance per student than any other Omaha-area high school.
