The Annual Fund
Annual Fund support is the lifeblood for private schools. It’s a key component in how we provide $1.6 million in tuition assistance that 82% of our students receive every year. Your gifts to the Annual Fund are used immediately and ensure that the lifetime advantage of a Mercy education continues to be affordable to all families. You can send a check to Mercy or donate online now.
Increase your Impact—Give Monthly
Want to do more? Please consider joining our Monthly Giving Club—Mx12. It’s simple and convenient—set it up once, and forget it. Here are a couple examples of your impact:
- $10 per month sends a girl to Mercy for two days
- $25 per month sends her for a week
- $84 per month sends her for a month
Memorials & Tribute Gifts
Memorial gifts are a meaningful way to honor the memory of family members or friends while supporting Mercy High School. Those who have been memorialized at Mercy are remembered in our annual Memorial Mass each November. The names of the deceased are displayed on the Memorial Wall in our beautiful Our Lady of Mercy Chapel.
If you have occasion to celebrate a graduation, birthday, anniversary, or other significant milestone, a gift to Mercy High School in honor of a friend or loved one may be the perfect tribute.

Gifts of Stock & other Assets
Many donors choose to donate appreciate publicly traded stock. There could be significant tax benefits for you with this type of gift. Please consult your financial planner for specific advice. We process stock donations through Wells Fargo Advisors. You will need this information:
You or your advisor must contact Debbie Alvarado at (402)445-6431 or Bobby O’Brian at (402)445-6423. Mercy’s account number is 3243-3774. The DTC # is 0141.
Some donors have other assets they wish to donate such as cars, boats, real estate, livestock, grain, etc. To discuss this, please contact Jim Pogge, Vice President for Advancement at (402)553-9424.
Scholarships & Tuition Awards
A donor can establish an endowed named scholarship or tuition award with a minimum gift of $25,000. The scholarship or award can be funded in a variety of ways: a single gift, a series of gifts over several years, or a planned gift from the estate of the donor. Such a gift has perpetual benefits with the impact it can have on a young girl’s life by providing a Mercy education.
Matching Gift Programs
In an effort to encourage their employees to support local non-profit organizations, many corporations match the gifts their employees give to non-profit and charitable organizations. Check with your employer’s human resource office for details.
