The school’s largest fundraiser, FIESTA means Friends in Earnest Supporting Tuition Assistance, and is usually held in February. Hundreds of volunteers coordinate a dinner and both a silent and live auction. The night has a festive atmosphere with more than 500 participants dressed in themed costumes. Hundreds of gift baskets and numerous auction items adorn the room and participants use personal devices to bid on items. People use the event not only as an opportunity to raise money, but to network and socialize with classmates, friends and the Mercy community. In 2017, more than $275,000 was raised. FIESTA 2018 will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Special pricing is available for alumnae. There is also a competition with prizes for the best teams and top scores. This year's event is September 11, 2017.
