Our mission statement proclaims: Mercy High School is a diverse educational community, founded by the Sisters of Mercy, focusing on academic excellence and inspiring young girls to become confident women of Mercy who embody faith, knowledge and compassionate service. Without YOU our mission statement would only be words! Your prayers and generous support make those words a true reality for many of our students.
Our donors are the lifeblood of this institution. On behalf of our students, we want to thank you for giving them the priceless gift of education. Know that our Women of Mercy are grateful for your support and their actions are definitely impacting the community and our world.

future of mercy
We are moving Full Steam Ahead and looking forward to another 60 years of quality Mercy education. But times are changing. Mercy High School reflects the changing socioeconomic face of Omaha: 30% of our students qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program, and over 50% of our students would be considered middle-income families. Together, these two groups comprise 82% of our student population, and all of these families face the daunting challenge to pay a $10,000 annual tuition and fee bill. That’s precisely where Negotiated Tuition steps in to make up the gap.
We could not make this happen without our generous donors. You can make all the difference with your continued generosity in this Year of Mercy, which happens at this school every year.
